Lookybook

30Nov07

I thought for sure I could take a break today.. but you see, I couldn’t. Not after finding Lookybook. It’s picture books that are scanned online and you can flip the pages. Me and Peanut are going to have so much fun with this!

Last day

30Nov07

Today is the last day of posting everyday. I had a lot of fun, many new visitors, and found some interesting things on the Internet just so I could post it.
Name that booze – I got 64% right
If you don’t catch the Rolling Stone magazine feature on PBS.. read about it on Wikipedia
It’s nearly 1am [...]

These are the cutest mascots ever!! I mean.. the 2008 Chinese ones are too (especially their Elemental colours), but the Vancouver ones I wouldn’t mind having stuffed animals to snuggle with.
I mean for Peanut to snuggle with.

I never get tired of reading 253. It’s an Internet novel of the passengers of a London Underground Train. Seven cars and a crash it says. It almost feels voyeuristic even though it’s entirely fiction.. or is it?
Ok, a few quick things. I’ve been going to Disturbing Auctions on a daily basis. It saves me [...]

Many, many moons ago.. I was the proud owner of a pretty popular Goth site. I brought it down once I became pregnant because I felt it just wasn’t me anymore. I’m about to have a baby and here I am playing with dolls wrapped in electrical tape and spray-painted hair (don’t ask.. but I [...]

I don’t know if it was from Besh or the entire situation (not comfortable in front of the camera maybe?), but still it was an enlightening episode. Especially about New Orleans.
Marsalis has an [...]

25 Amazing DIY Innovations. I really like some of these ideas.. but if anyone replaces a pacifier with a tiny cactus.. I am totally disowning them.
10 Most Unusual “Top Ten” Lists. An interesting look.
On the Issues. One of the main resources I use to keep up with the candidates and also the candidate match game

Brighter Than Sunshine is one of my favourite songs from Aqualung (whose CD Strange and Beautiful is too good for words), however it’s also this cute little sunshine in a jar. You leave it out in the sun all day and then at night it glows for about 5 hours in the mason jar until [...]

What’s this world coming to when I see this? What are they? Prada Tarot cards… I shit you not. I don’t see how these cards would provide an accurate reading when they’re wrapped so tightly in consumerism.
Oh well.. maybe I’m reading too much into it (pun completely intended..heh)
I wonder what Prada will do next? Runes?

Carmen does “Thankful Thursdays”.. I’m only going to do one installment of Thankful Saturday.
Thank goodness this daily posting this is almost over. I’m running out of stuff to say
